When it comes to riding in the cold, the warmth of the Ranger Windbloc Fire Jacket starts with the zoned fleece lining. This is deployed in areas where you need the most insulation, retaining hard-earned body heat. Elsewhere you'll find areas dedicated to maintaining breathability, with airflow vents preventing you from becoming soaked in sweat during harder trail riding efforts. 

Next comes the Polartec® Windbloc®. This windproof material is deployed across the shoulders and lower back, preventing the bite of cold winds from stealing away body heat. This, in combination with the fleece inner, regulates body temperature brilliantly and keeps you toasty on the bike. 

While it's not a superlight jacket, it's no heavyweight either. You're certainly not going to feel weighed down or restricted when you've got it on and you're in the flow of a great mountain bike ride. The polyester exterior is also tough and durable, meeting the demands of regular mountain biking. An extended drop tail keeps you nicely covered across the lower back and elastic cuffs keep the elements out.
