A Note from GP Bikes' President

Story of GP Bikes

GP Bikes’ journey began in the year 2000 with 5 used motorcycles, a 1200 square foot facility in Ajax, one employee, and a dream. We quickly realized that we wanted to provide a more well-rounded experience to our clientele and expanded into the motorcycle apparel and accessories market in addition to pre-owned motorcycles.

Manufacturers began to take notice of the excellent service we were providing and, with the addition of our service department, we soon became a Ducati dealership. Not long after that, we began offering Triumph and KTM motorcycles as well. Despite four renovations, we quickly ran out of room to expand at our Ajax location.

In 2011, we moved into a fully renovated, 24,000 sq. foot facility in Whitby.  In 2016, we added another 6000 sq. feet to our service department and expanded our brand lineup with Honda, followed shortly thereafter by Husqvarna and GasGas.  We added even more showroom by constructing mezzanines in many of our rooms, bringing our total to over 40,000 sq. feet of motorcycle goodness!

Along the way, we have continually been a top Ducati, Triumph and KTM dealer in Canada and have grown to a staff of nearly 100! We've continually expanded and 'renovated' our online store to serve customers across Canada - many of our regular clientele have not yet had the opportunity to visit our physical location.

In 2022, we embarked on our most ambitious expansion to date- we've added not only another 7,000 square feet onto the front of our building, but also three new motorcycle brands: BMW Motorrad, MV Agusta and Indian Motorcycles. Construction was completed at the end of 2023 just in time for our annual Christmas Customer Appreciation Event. We were ecstatic to have over 1000 of you join us for this amazing grand opening in December!

Over the past several years, we have been blessed with the opportunity to support powersports on a national level as a proud sponsor of both the Corduroy Enduro and the Canadian Superbike Championship (CSBK) and on a more local level, the Rockhound Rally by Rally Connex and the 2 Day Algonquin Trail Ride amongst others.

Whether you're an old friend or someone we're just getting to know, we are excited to serve and discuss our shared powersports passion with you! It is our goal to go above and beyond; to go the extra mile for all of our friends and clients!

'And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.'  Matthew 5:41

Thank you for making GP Bikes Canada's Powersports Authority!
