In all positions at GP Bikes, it is important for staff to be versatile and willing to assist with a variety of tasks. Unless otherwise stated, most positions involve working mainly during our store hours, however, additional projects may be assigned which require different working hours. Working off-site at Trade Shows beyond these store hours several times a year is a requirement.

  • Overview:
    As a Motorcycle Technician/Mechanic In-training you are responsible for performing all forms of service work from tune-ups to engine rebuilds on most makes and models, including Ducati, Triumph, KTM, Husqvarna, GasGas, Honda, Indian Motorcycle, BMW Motorrad, and MV Agusta. You will complete repair work accurately and within the scheduled time period. You will test ride bikes as required for diagnostic purposes prior to returning to the customer. You will conduct oil changes, tire changes and carb clean setups. This is a full-time position with a higher number of working hours in the busy season.

    Qualifications:

    • Passionate Motorcyclist and have a minimum M2 license
    • Knowledge and experience working with Ducati, Triumph, KTM, Husqvarna, GasGas, Honda, Indian Motorcycle, BMW Motorrad, and/or MV Agusta is considered an asset

    • Must have 310G Motorcycle Mechanic Trade Certification

    • Diagnostic skills with both carbureted and fuel injected engines

    • Basic computer skills

    • Must provide own toolbox and hand-tools specific to the trade while GP does supply some specialty tools

    • Maintain a clean organized workspace

    • Perform quality control checks for repaired vehicles to ensure repairs are complete

  • Overview:

If you have strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, and knowledge of motorcycle makes, models and mechanics, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

    In this position, you are responsible for booking appointments, facilitating and quoting customer jobs, closing service invoices and selling service operations. You will also be responsible for preparing and processing warranty claims from the manufacturer or supplier. If you have a positive attitude, strong customer service skills and the ability to be versatile in your role, then this may be the job for you! 

    Job duties:

    • Greet customers and intake motorcycles or power equipment for service and diagnostics, ensuring detailed and accurate work orders.

    • Schedule and manage service appointments efficiently.

    • Communicate with customers via phone, email, or in person, keeping them informed on service progress and future maintenance needs.

    • Provide accurate quotes for service work and finalize invoices upon job completion.

    • Sell service operations and proactively recommend additional maintenance when appropriate.

    • Assist with other service-related duties as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Passion for motorcycles and a strong understanding of motorcycle makes and models.

    • Previous experience as a Service Advisor required or experience within the motorcycle industry

    • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

    • Physically able to push and maneuver motorcycles within the dealership and lot.

This role involves promoting and selling motorcycles while providing exceptional customer service to help clients find their perfect ride whether they are new riders or experienced enthusiasts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for motorcycles with a strong understanding of motorcycle features and specifications, and the ability to connect with customers to drive sales and create lasting relationships.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Actively engage with customers to understand their needs, preferences, and riding experience, recommending motorcycles, e-bikes and off-road vehicles that best match their requirements.

    • Complete sales transactions of motorcycles, e-bikes and off-road vehicles while offering additional products services to enhance the customer experience.

    • Highlight the features and benefits of products and services, assist with providing quotes, discuss financing options and credit terms, and ensure accurate completion of sales order forms and related documentation.

    • Cultivate and maintain ongoing relationships with customers post-sale to encourage repeat business, gather feedback, and create opportunities for revenue growth.

    Qualifications:

    •  Valid GM Driver’s License and OMVIC Certification required.

    • Genuine Passion for Motorcycles: A strong enthusiasm for motorcycles and the riding lifestyle, with comprehensive knowledge of various brands, models, and types.

    • Prior experience in sales, preferably within the motorcycle industry or a related field, with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and close sales effectively.

  • Overview:
    We are seeking an experienced and motivated Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to join our team. The F&I Manager is responsible for securing financing for customers, presenting and selling protection products, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maximizing dealership profitability while delivering an outstanding customer experience. For this position, the individual must be able to work days, some evenings, and Saturdays. It is compulsory to be available to work motorcycle trade shows beyond our normal store hours 2-3 times a year. 

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Arrange customer financing through lenders and financial institutions

    • Present and sell F&I products including extended service contracts, GAP, loan-related insurance, tire & rim protection, theft tracking products, etc.

    • Ensure all paperwork is entered into the POS system in a timely manner so all departments (sales, service, and accounting) can rely on the accuracy of the entered information

    • Maintain strong relationships with banks and finance companies

    • Ensure that purchase agreements, bills of sale, finance contracts, applications for registration and all other documents necessary for the sale of vehicles are completed accurately and in full compliance with GP Bikes policies and O.M.V.I.C regulations

    • Provide clear, transparent explanations of financing options and products to customers

    • Work closely with sales managers and sales staff to streamline the delivery process

    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance, regulations, and lender programs

    Qualifications: 

    • Minimum of 2 years experience in Finance and Insurance Sales within a high volume dealership (auto or powersports)

    • OMVIC Certification

    • Strong understanding of finance contracts and compliance requirements

    • High integrity and customer-first mindset

    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization abilities

    • Excellent communication and closing skills

    • Computer proficiency with experience using technology to create efficiency within the F&I department

    • Proven ability to develop and maintain respectful, collaborative, and supportive relationships with co-workers and other departments

    • Ability to work days, some evenings and Saturdays. Some travel may be required
