In all positions at GP Bikes, it is important for staff to be versatile and willing to assist with a variety of tasks. Unless otherwise stated, most positions involve working mainly during our store hours, however, additional projects may be assigned which require different working hours. Working off-site at Trade Shows beyond these store hours several times a year is a requirement.

  • As a Motorcycle Technician/Mechanic you are responsible for performing all forms of service work from tune-ups to engine rebuilds on most makes and models, including Ducati, Triumph, Honda and KTM. You will complete repair work accurately and within the scheduled time period. You will test ride bikes as required for diagnostic purposes prior to returning to the customer. You will conduct oil changes, tire changes and carb clean setups. This is a full-time position with a higher number of working hours in the busy season.

    Qualifications:

    • Passionate Motorcyclist and have a minimum M2 licence

    • Knowledge and experience working with Ducati, Triumph, Honda and KTM is an asset

    • Must have 310G Motorcycle Mechanic Trade Certification

    • Diagnostic skills with both carbureted and fuel injected engines

    • Basic computer skills

    • Must provide own toolbox and hand-tools specific to the trade while GP does supply some specialty tools

    • Maintain a clean organized workspace

  • As a Parts & Accessories Sales Associate you will deliver outstanding customer service by proactively assisting customers in store and answering inquiries by phone. On and Off-Road parts and accessories knowledge is required to effectively search and determine customers needs. Your goal is customer satisfaction. If this sounds like an ideal way to spend your work day, then this may be the job for you! This position is ideal if you are an individual with a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and ability to be versatile in your role working in our fast paced environment. Other tasks include ensuring merchandise is always presented neatly and priced correctly.

    Qualifications:

    • Passion for the riding lifestyle!
    • Knowledge in motorcycle parts and accessories.
    • 2+ years of previous customer experience selling motorcycle parts
    • Keyboarding and computer skills
    • Able to work under pressure and good time management
    • Excellent phone and in-person customer service skills
    • Available during all open hours (including Saturdays)

In this position, you are responsible for delivering excellent service to every customer - whether you are selling products, or telling them about various sales, promotions and events. Other tasks include making sure that merchandise is always presented neatly and priced correctly.

    • Motorcycle apparel and accessories sales experience is an asset
    • Merchandising experience is considered an asset

  • Do you have a combination of 2-wheel passion, off-road enthusiasm and extensive knowledge of motorcycle makes and models? If so, then we want to hear from you! The Motorcycle Sales Associate is responsible for selling motorcycles and off-road vehicles, managing customer leads with strategic sales tools and techniques, generating new customer accounts, following up on all sales leads, making appointments with interested customers, maintaining a clean and professional workspace, and being a contributing member of a team that strives to deliver a premium customer experience to all of its fast-growing number of customers. This individual will develop ongoing relationships with customers and will continually maintain a professional image of the company. Integrity, passion and initiative are essential for this role. The Motorcycle Sales Associate should have a strong background in sales with a broad knowledge of motorcycle and off-road vehicle specifications and features. 

    Job Duties:

    • Provide customers with information regarding motorcycles and off-road vehicles for sale

    • Manually maneuver motorcycles to allow customers to examine them

    • Complete sales of motorcycles and off-road vehicles while offering additional products and/or services

    • Conduct a delivery inspection when completing delivery to customer

    • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports

    • Build and foster a network of referrals to create opportunities for revenue growth

    • Attend training sessions to keep current with sales techniques and sales department issues. International travel required

    • Must be able to work effectively with all areas of the dealership to maximize both the buying experience for the customer and the profitability of the dealership

    • OMVIC license

    • Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

  • If you are organized, have strong attention to detail, and enjoy a hands-on element in your work day, then this may be the job for you. In this position, you will be responsible for unpacking received inventory, making sure it is well accounted for, and labeling it accordingly. You will ensure every item has a security tag and process all required paperwork. When shipping customer orders you will package the items, maintain adequate records for reporting, and track and verify receipt of shipment. Excellent customer service is crucial. During slower periods within our shipping and receiving department, versatility is key! Other duties may include: assisting customers purchasing product; ensuring product is merchandised effectively; responding via phone or email to customer enquiries regarding the shipment/pick up of online orders; and more. If you are someone who loves a physical aspect to your work day but does not shy away from detailed computer work then please apply!

    Qualifications:

    • Be able to lift or move a minimum of 50 lbs.
    • Previous shipping and receiving experience is an asset
    • Previous experience in a retail setting is preferred
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build trust and rapport
    • Positive work attitude
    • Experience operating a forklift and pallet truck would be an asset
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and working knowledge of computers.
